Ronnie Ralston

SHOOTER

I started competitively shooting pistols in 2009: active in USPSA, steel challenges, bulls-eye, PPC, and competing in the International Police Games twice.  In 2012, on the invite of a friend, I decided to give long-range shooting a try.  Finding just enough success to keep me coming back and a mentor who was a past National FTR Champion, I was hooked.

I’ve been lucky enough and blessed to win several state and regional championships, and have been competitive in the last three F-Class National Championships.  I’ve also enjoyed success at mid-range, winning state and regional contests three consecutive years and finishing second in the Nation at the Mid Range Nationals held at Camp Perry in 2014.

Serving in law enforcement since 1991, I have had the opportunity to set several national records in the police class, as well as holding a couple of civilian and open records for a short time.  I attribute my success to the support of my family and sound advice from fellow competitors and my mentor.  I am excited to have earned a spot on Team USA and look forward to representing my county in 2015 and beyond.
