Letter from Ray Gross

Let me start at the only place I can start, the men and women making up the US Rifle Team have proven themselves repeatedly on the world stage.  They have represented their Country, their fellow teammates, their sponsors and themselves in the most awesome and professional way.  They work hard for years at a time for a chance to earn a spot on this team.  They represent the best that amateur sports have to offer.

We are set to begin a new cycle leading to the World Championships at Connaught Range, Ottawa, Canada in 2017.  Over the next several years, we are going to compete and train as a team.   My goal as Captain is to meld these many fierce competitors into one team with two primary goals, win the Gold and be goodwill ambassadors for our Country, our sport and our sponsors.

Our team is spread out geographically; we will have many expenses bringing our team together for training.  Members of our team will be sacrificing vacations, time off from work and time with their loved ones so that they can come together to train, to compete as a team and to win.

The drive and dedication of the members of our team has brought them many successes in the past.  Their winning spirit rubs off on those around them whether at big events or at their local clubs.

These are people I want to associate with.

As two time World Champions, we are uniquely positioned to help our sponsors gain recognition and market share.  We are looking for supporters who are willing to commit to the US Rifle Team at the same level as each of our members.

Sincerely,
Ray Gross
