Shooting and competing has become a passion for John.

He proudly served with the United States Army in a direct support missile battalion, Wiesbaden, Germany.

He has also competed in short range NBRSA and IBS Benchrest over 10 years prior to transitioning into long range with the Michigan F/TR Team, honing his skills even further and aided by his mentor in long range , Bryan Litz.

He has won Michigan State Championship Tournaments as well as consecutive, 2014 & 2015 Remington Long Range Challenge, Reade Range , PA.

John currently holds 7 NRA National Records in F/TR.

His NRA ranking is Mid-range HIGHMASTER and Long range EXPERT.

Shirley Leahy, his Beautiful soulmate, is ever present to assist and support his shooting passion.
